Take Interstate 5 Exit 230 for Burlington/Anacortes and State Route 20. Turn left onto Highway 20 West and continue 11.7 miles to a traffic circle. Avoid the Highway 20 Spur leading to Anacortes, instead proceeding on Highway 20 West. Continue another 6.1 miles to a small parking area on the right just after crossing the Deception Pass Bridge. This short hike to the top of Goose Rock in Deception Pass State Park glides through several diverse ecosystems that support a wide variety of wildflowers and other flora while offering views of dynamic seascapes.
