I live in Olympia and haven't had a chance to make it up that way yet! I have a friend who lives in the area and has hiked Olallie State park before and said he had a blast! The furthest I have been is around Mt. Si and even that was a lot for me. Do you have a preference for alcohol stoves? I am going to get a new one to bring up with me cross country skiing, but I was wondering if you might have a suggestion? I have an evernew alcohol stove now, and it works great, but I'm wondering if there might be something that produce heat faster than an alcohol stove, without being super expensive? Thanks for the help!

My wife and I hiked Rattlesnake Ledge last week and it was so crowded we were looking for some quiet. This was a great hike for a quick visit, beautiful viewpoint at top and not 1 person on trail, though lots of rock climbers below. Your sight is awsome, thanks for the info!
