Really fun hike, cool ledge, spooky forest the higher you go up, but the East Peak view was relatively disappointing due to the limited vantage points. Fun afternoon, but Mt. Washington takes the cake.

Hi Andrew,

The ledge and rattlesnake mountain are on the same trail. Follow the directions to reach the Rattlesnake Recreation Area off of Exit 32 and it's about 4 miles round trip on the trail to do the ledge hike!

I did nearly this hike this morning, except that all my friends canceled so I did not have a car for both ends of the hike. Parked on the Snoqualmie Point end and hiked to East Peak and back. Total distance: 12.2 miles. Great hike, thanks Bro!

Really enjoying reading your posts. I've done the Rattlesnake Traverse twice, both times starting at Snoqualmie Point and ending up at the lake. It works out well to do it this way, because you reach the 3 ledges near the end of your hike, the perfect time to take a break and soak in the view. I did the hike over Memorial Day weekend a couple years ago, and there was 6 or 8 feet of snow at East Peak (3500 feet). I think that was unusual. BTW, your link to the Rattlesnake Ledge hike mistakenly lands on the page for the Rattlesnake Mountain trail.
